Galleria Huuto is a chain of galleries maintained by artists.
There are two Huuto galleries in the centre of Helsinki that
organise two-week exhibitions. The artists themselves usually
supervise the exhibitions.
Exhibition times for 2007 are now open for application.

Galleria Huuto in Uudenmaankatu
(http://www.galleriahuuto.net/pohjap/uud.html) about 750 € (cost prices, fees may vary). The fee covers posters, the printing of invitation cards and partially the cost of mailing. The gallery does not charge commission on sale. To apply for the exhibition times for 2007, write an informal application which includes your CV. Your application material may consist of max. 10 pictures in A4 portfolio, CD or DVD (Mac and PC compatible). You can also send your application by e-mail (attachment size max. 2 Mb). If you prefer either of the galleries, please mention it in your application. You may, however, be offered a different gallery than you wished for.
