Galleria Huuto is an artist-run gallery with two exhibition venues, both located in the centre of Helsinki. From the beginning of the year 2009 the exhibitions will run for three weeks each.Applications for exhibitions should be submitted as follows: for the exhibitions to take place in the spring 2009 the
application deadline is May 15th 2008 and for the exhibitions in the autumn 2009 the deadline is October 15th 2008.For the floor plans and pictures please click the following links:
Galleria Huuto Viiskulma The exhibition fees for the year 2009: Galleria Huuto Viiskulma approx. 1000 ¬, Galleria Huuto Uudenmaankatu approx. 1400 ¬. The fees include posters, invitation cards and postage. The exhibitions are supervised jointly by the gallery staff and the exhibiting artists. For sales there is no commission. The free-form applications should include curriculum vitae, an exhibition proposal and some examples of current /previous works, such as a portfolio (size A4) or a CD / DVD. All electronic material must be both Mac and PC compatible. Applications may also be sent by e-mail, but the size of the message with attachments must not exceed
2 MB.
Any preferences regarding the exhibition venue (Uudenmaankatu or Viiskulma) should be clearly indicated in the application. Please note that the exhibition can still be offered at another location. When sent from Finland, the postmark of the application deadline is sufficient. When sent from abroad, the application must be delivered at the address below by the application deadline.
